1. GTCO FSHWKND GRAFFITI 2023
The task is to design a cool typeface for the 2023 Fashion weekend cocktail pre-event. This year is Graffiti themed – celebrating the 90’s Hip hop culture.
The sketches above show my creative process. start with sourcing for references to create a mood board for the art style. I cretae scamps and add colors to it using Posca markers, after fine-tuning and pleased with the outcome, I trace it on my Ipad then I add the final touches to it on Photoshop.
I thought it would be cool to create something new & different for this year edition – a 90’s graffiti with a mixture of vector images, textures & aesthetic colors (while incorporating GTBank brand colors to maintain consistency)
